Results Oriented Program and Instructional Planning Institute

This institute is designed to optimize adult literacy programs' performance outcomes through results oriented program planning using evidence and research-based strategies to effectively manage classes and enhance student persistence and retention.

You are welcome to attend any or all of these sessions in isolation. If you decide to attend the entire institute, you will be given a digital badge at the end of the sessions.

Session 4: Strategies to Manage Student Persistence and Retention

Description: How can adult education programs continue to attract, motivate and retain students? In this workshop, participants will review research on the factors that affect student persistence, best practices to motivate and retain students, and strategies to put learning into actionable work plans.
